'Avatar, A Rockstar Parody' - also known as 'I wanna be an avatar' - by Foolish Frost was written and recorded in the beginning of 2008. It's humerous lyrics - not without self-reflection - made it one of the biggest Second Life hits, quoted by many, hummed in-world and in real life by even more.
This song can be considered as to be in the public domain, as Mr Frost feels as much persons & avatars as possible should enjoy it: 'I let them do anything they like with it. Make porn, light it on fire, shape it into a bullet and commit murder. So long as I'm not held accountable, me no care.' Of course, if you wish to credit him, and you don't use it for pr0n or 'avatarcide,' we do not think he'll mind.

Different versions of Avatar
As our brave new virtual world evolves, so does the Avatar Song. For his performance at the Crimson Shadow sim, September 2008, Foolish Frost has written an updated version 'Return of the Avatar', where in he makes the promise I'll even upgrade my look and download a dance.
